Joe used to come to Primetimers, and my friend Dick and I got to know him pretty well. We used to go out for tea afterwards quite often. I will really miss him!! He was a great guy!!

We use to live in the building next to Joe and Adie and saw them take their walk every day. One day I stipped and said to them, "you are the CUTEST" couple on the block. That was the start of our wonderful frindship. We joined them for tea one day and stayed friends ever since. I will miss Joe and his sweetness, smile and kindnest. Joe was my oldest, truest, best friend since roughly 1948 when we met at the university of chicago. Because of his temperament he was the only person I could justly call an angel. His care for Addie and all others demonstrated that.
