We just heard the news. I was just talking about Joe and my grandfather tonight. Joe touched my life in many ways. A very wise man who taught me a great deal. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.

I have just read the sad news of your brother's passing. Tom and I wish to be among those who are offering sincerest sympathy at this time.

I will miss the stories he told but I am glad I was able to see him one last time in Newport a month ago. Again our deepest condolences to the Badway family in your time of sorrow.
