Not sure what to say?

Joe was someone I and my children always looked forward to seeing. Whenever we went to the hardware store they alwys sought him out. We didn't know him well, but we sure will miss him. God Bless!

You are in our thoughts & prayers. We enjoyed Joe's lively spirit-his magic tricks, music, & jokes. He'll be missed by many.

Joe Baker touched my life and the lives of my family and many of my friends. It was always a pleasure and an honor to make music with Joe. You will be remembered and missed by all. So long my friend

Years ago I had the privelege of meeting Joe through someone I lived with. When he'd visit the house, he'd delight my then-little boy by pulling a quarter out of my son's ear, and once, seeming to pull a handkerchief out of his own nose! One time he brought me a Mojo bag from New Orleans (guess he thought I needed it) I ran across it a few days ago and wondered and remembered about Joe. What a wonderful guy - he left goodness and joy wherever he went.

Hi, I was in school with Joe Cole-Baker in Champaign- from junior high on. I startrd looking for him about three weeks ago for our 40th class reunion this July. Joe was always friendly to me and many others. It is good to hear that he kept up with his majic.

So sorry to read of Joe's death. He and I worked together many, many years ago at Round Barn True Value in Champaign, Il. I always enjoyed him playing his harmonica, yes while on the job! He had such a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. I am sure everyone in Texas will miss his smile and music.

Martha and extended family.

With deepest sympathy to you and yours with the loss of Joe. Still think of you. Love, Ted and Karna Forsyth
