We cannot express how sorry we were to hear of Joe's homegoing! It was so good to chat with you on the phone. We trust that God will give you much comfort & peace during this difficult time. Nettie: We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. When I told the kids we sat around the kitchen table remembering all the quiz trips/meets/practices with Joe. His love for God & the scriptures were very evident as he worked with the quizzers. We know that he touched each of our lives and for that we are thankful to God. We will continue to pray for you and your family in the coming days.

Hi Nettie --- Esther and I were very surprised to hear the news of Joe's passing. He was always dear to my heart. Suffering baffles our minds, but we can trust God to be near and to work out His purposes.

Steve and I were so saddened to hear of Joe's sudden passing. He was such a dear man and we were very fond of him. I am so glad I was able to see and hug both of you when you visited Hillcrest earlier this year. We prayed for you and your family at worship team practice last night.
