Dear Carolyn,

Please accept our belated condolences on Joe's death. He was a one-of-a-kind bon vivant and raconteur -- an all-around great guy and friend to all. He never stopped fighting the good fight. May our heavenly Father ease your grief and leave only the cherished memories of his loving ways. May you be blessed with good health and prosperity all the days of your life. And may the angels lead him into paradise. Your friends, Larry & Mary and The Ackels Family.

Joe Barta, a class act.

Our thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Paul and Paula LaRocque.

Joe's media-politician parties were always the event of the year. How else could a photo of me in a slinky pink dress and a blonde wig been photographed with Sen. John Tower wearing a Superman cape and tights? And it ran in Time Magazine!
Joe was so loved and he will be missed.
