Not sure what to say?

To the Bath family: I was director and professor at WMC when Joe was there. I visited him in SC for his "on the job training. Joe was a good student and a good man. Very sincere and dedicated.

Betsy - This is awkward because it's been so long - a lifetime is what it feels like. And I'm not even sure if I have the right person. I am so very sorry for the loss of your brother. He sounds like a wonderful, loving man. Peggy (Erdman) Lenox

Betty and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son Joey. I used to love to hear
stories about him when I worked with you.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Fran and Danny Eck

Betsy, Denise and families,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother / brother-in-law. My deepest sympathies are with you during this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and give you strength!

Sheryl

Phil,
Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother.

Dear Betty, Flip & Betsy:
I couldn't be more shocked at this news. I am so sorry for your loss. I hadn't been in touch with Joey in years, but to me he was always a southern gentleman, not unlike his father. The Bath's will always be special to me and my love is with you all now, as well as my prayers for healing during this time of sorrow.
With Love and Sympathy,
Suzanne

I met Joe in the early 80s when I followed him at the SC School for the Deaf/Blind. I've worked with him off and on for over 30 years. He had a great sense of humor and always seemed to enjoy life. To his family: Joe made many contributions to the lives of Deaf children and their families and those who serve them. He made a difference in the world. Michael Kelly, Columbia, SC

Joe and I were long time friends starting a USC. I was able to keep up with him and his accomplishments through the years. Wonderful memories. He was the greatest guy and always happy. The last time we talked was at an auction, something we had in common other than sigh language. He will be missed. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.God bless. Flonnie Shockley Wiese and family.

I worked with Joe at RVHS and was so fortunate to have him as a friend. The world is a sadder place without Joe. Rest in Peace!
