Father Beckman was our high school English teacher. He helped us all acquire a great respect for our language and literature that continues to this day. Thank you, Father Beckman!

Fr Beckman was a great English teacher at St Gregory. He left us all with a great respect for the English language and literature.

I first knew Fr Beckman when he was assistant pastor at Holy Angels in O'Bryonville in the mid 50's and then as our English teacher for freshman and sophomore years in high school. He instilled in us a love and appreciation for reading and English literature that has lasted a lifetime. Thank you, Fr Beckman!

Judy and I extend our deep sympathy to Fr. Beckman's brother James, the entire Beckman family, all the students he taught at St. Gregory Seminary, and all those whose lives were touched by his ministry. Fr. Joe Beckman taught me english during may freshman high school year at St. Greg's. Joe had "Great Expectations" for his students. I will always remember those days and the times we would cross paths over the years. Eternal rest grant unto Fr. Joe Beckman. May he shine in the Perpetual...
