Not sure what to say?

I will miss Sidney in our writing group. His passion, his optomism and thoughtfulness made him a very special person. My heart goes out to his wife and daughter and others in the family who hold him dear.
I hope his writing will give you good memories from his heart. My Warm wishes and condolences to you for this great loss. Roslyn Karpel-Schormann

Sidney and I go back to my high school days at Annunciation High. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his entire family.

Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of Sid. We have very fond memories of him over the past 30+ years of knowing him. Blessings to the family.

Marilyn and the Becnel family, my deepest sympathy. Sidney and I were classmates at St. Joseph Seminary for 4 years, when I left. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply grieved to learn of Sidney's passing. I will remember him for the wonderful pieces he submitted every month to our memoir writing group. From his writing we came to know him - the rich, varied life he led, his talents, the largeness of his heart, his wit, humor, compassion and intelligence.
He simply had so much to write about, and we his colleagues are the richer for having known him and for having the privilege of reading his memoir, albeit unfinished.

We were so sorry to hear of Sid's death. He was a beloved priest in White Castle while we lived there in the 60's and 70's. So talented, and a wonderful friend. We send the family our sympathy and condolences.

Was Mr. Becnel originally from New Jersey or Louisiana ? My wife was a Becnel from St.James Parish.
Respectfully

I've only known Sidney for a short time as a member of our memoir writers group from the Middletown Library, but I will miss him very much. He was a kind man, with a great deal of compassion and a gunuine concern for others. The pieces he wrote for our group were funny, touching, and honest.
Sidney, you will always be fondly remember by the group - and I will miss you very much.
