I grew up listening to the Dawnbusters, and many times would go to the station in the Roosevelt with my father, Jake, who was chief engineer at WWL. As a youngster, I was always fascinated at Johnny and his big bass fiddle, and the wonderful sounds he could coax out of it. My condolences to his family.

To my Godfather, who was always the light of my life and the perfect gentleman in every way. You were always willing to speak a kind word and listen to all the latest adventures in my family of 4 boys. My love and prayers are with you. I know Titta will be happy to see you and finally embrace you forever.

John,
You were like a brother to me. We grew up together in the same house and when I was a little girl you liked to dress me up as "Jackie Coogan." When I was ten I would sit outside for hours at Wachenfeld's Pier in Biloxi and listen to you play music. We had many good times together and you were loved by everyone. Those days are gone but you will forever live in my heart.
I love you.

"Mister John" was a great family friend. I fondly recall his stories about the Dawnbusters. He had his old upright bass standing proudly in his living room. He was a man of many talents. He was a humble man. John Senac will be missed.

You were one of the bright spots of my childhood. I will always cherish the memories of your mother taking me by the hand to your bedroom to "see if you were still sleeping." My family loved you dearly and you will never be forgotten. You were always the perfect gentleman to all those you touched and may you forever rest in peace. I love you.
Your neice,

Your father taught me music many years ago. I remember him fondly.
