My wife and I were fortunate enough to meet and know Dr. Joseph Bender when my wife's cousin had the good sense to marry Dr. Bender's daughter. He was always gracious and kind to us and truly made us feel like we were part of his family. If you are fortunate to know any of his children, grandchildren or great grandchildren, you will know and understand the great legacy this truly fine gentleman and doctor has left.
