I'm so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. We worked together at Southwest Steel, then Armco, and I wound up working for him for a short period b/4 changing departments. He was a good guy that we all liked.

Joe was the model for a 'big brother' in the last half of the 1950s when he was our neighbor. His little brother and my friend, Dave was the best baseball player in our back-yard games. The family, to us, was an inspiration with mom, Frances, presenting elegance to a working class neighborhood, dad, Foy, a talented carpenter and involved father, sister Kathy displaying that 50s spirit of nice girls.
