Not sure what to say?

DAD - TODAY, NOVEMBER 9TH, 2008, I KNOW YOU ARE SPENDING A SPECIAL DAY WITH ERNIE, ON HIS 56TH BIRTHDAY!
I STILL REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME COMING TO YOUR HOME, LOADED DOWN WITH COOKIES, FOR YOUR FAMILY. YOU ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL VERY WELCOMED, AS WELL AS MOM. I ESPECIALLY REMEMBER GOING INTO LABOR FOR TERESA & YOU CAME OVER TO CALM ME DOWN UNTIL ERNIE ARRIVED HOME FROM WORK. I AM SURE YOU WERE PROBABLY NERVOUS, BUT YOU KEPT ME LAUGHING.
I KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS FOR YOU WHEN ERNIE DIED,...

Joe, Benvenuto, my Brother-in Law and Sponsor. I have many pleasant memories of Joe. Our first meeting was at Louie and Nina's Farm. Our family was there for one of their pig roasts. When we went to leave, we were sent in to find the person who was blocking our car. Grandma Suzie was in the kitchen along with Nina and some of the other women. She said oh' that is my son Joey's car. Joe went out to move the car and as far as I know that was the first meeting of Carm and Joe. On one...

My heart truly goes out to all of the family members who have enjoyed Grandpa Benvenuto's jovial spirit and wisdom over the years. He has touched the heart of many people. I will be praying for everyone in the family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. My father (Joseph Buttari) "Butler" worked with and was a good friend of your husband and all the Benvenutos and as his daughter I wanted to let you and your family know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Joe, nobody could have had a better Godfather than you. And I am honored and feel very fortunate that my parents, Jim (Vinnie) and Alice, asked you to fulfill that role. You did a wonderful job leading by example, providing wonderful words of wisdom and stories that taught all us "youngsters" the way we should live a Christian life. And I will always remember how the adult males around the endless dinner table, led by you, solved all the world's problems. And although you did not...

My Uncle Joe- a man who will be missed greatly. He left me with some very personal memories of him, like whenever he called our house- He'd say, hello Concetta Anne, this is Joseph P. Benvenuto Esquire, and how are you this fine day? (he was one of the few poeple who called me by my full name)Then he would ask , 'is my compare John available?' and soon the two of them would take off in one of their trucks both dressed like Marcy said earlier in their jeans and blue work shirts. My sisters...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Such happy memories we have for Joe. Forty-five years ago Joe gave us a bottle of champagne, to help start our family. We still have it. God bless you Joe as you rest in His arms. John & Barbara MacMillan (FL)

I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. My thoughts and sympathy go out to Aunt Carm and all of her and Uncle Joe's children and grandchildren, and all the rest of the family.
