Joseph "Don" Berlin

Don was my favorite resident at Heather hills . He loved to talk about sports and spending time with his family. He always put a smile on my face everyday I stopped to see him! The last thing I got to say to him was "see you tomorrow don" and I regret it til this day . He will truly be missed . Prayers for the family , he loved you all !

I was his secretary at MMLC and wish I had known of his service to his country at that time. He was our Branch Manager when we asked that the women could wear pantsuits - he made the dress code change for us! This was the late 60's, early 70's. He was always a gentleman and a good boss.

Our parents were great friends over the years. I imagine they are now celebrating together in heaven. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I remember the many times those of us from the old neighborhood around St. Mary's Cathedral had great time getting together. Your mother and dad will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
