Dad, It's been a year now since we said goodbye. A very hard year. I still find myself reaching for the phone, just to say hi. Checking to see how your doing , maybe even come over to visit. This has been a tough 12 months . Alot has happened. My heart is still broken . My hope is that where ever you are there's a captive audience listening to all your stories. What a life you led. Mark have created a memory room filled with pictures of those we lost over the years. Since both our fathers...

Grandpa joe
Well words cant even express how i feel about papa joe. I remember as a young man growing up the family gatherings that carol and papa joe put together had every grand kid on there best behavior anticipating what amazing present that he had got for us kids. The first 100$ bill came from an envelope he gave me. I know how much i looked up to my father and to see how he looked up to him meant this guy was not only intelligent beyond our time but respected and known in a world i...

Pop,
I am truly a blessed man to have been given a father so incredible as you. You have taught me so many things in my life - the easy lessons and the ones I did not want to learn the most difficult. I have never and will never meet anyone that could hold a candle to your immeasurable intelligence and generosity. I am so proud to be your son and will miss you so very much. I love you with all my heart pop and will see you again someday.

There are a few people who stand out to me in my life, Joe is definitely one of them. Intelligent, a smile that lit up his eyes, and an ability to see things clearly and rationally were part of his every day persona. With grace, charm and a calm voice, he could move mountains. I'm so glad to have known him. Love to his family.

Joe….It is hard to believe you are gone. You were so dedicated to your family and included me into yours with open arms. Thank you for being such a wonderful father and role model to my husband, Damon. Your love helped make him the man he is today. You will be missed so very much . God gained some powerful conversation and a brilliant mind. We love you

I met Joe a couple of days after I arrived at Aerojet in 1980. The company had hired me as a temporary employee to produce a comprehensive report on the anticancer drug market. Someone suggested that I might want to meet Joe, since he had some sort of high-tech computer-like gizmo that helped with research. (Remember, folks, this was long before the days of the personal computer, Windows, and the internet.) So I phoned him and he said for me to come right over to his office.
I was...

...my heart is sad. Joe was a great guy, a wonderful husband, father and son. He always got the last word ;-). I will miss him and the joy he brought to Carol. Rest in peace dear friend.
