Joseph N. Bibbo, 52
BELLINGHAM/CLINTON - Joseph N. Bibbo, 52, of Bellingham, formerly of Clinton and Mendon, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, in UMass-Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, Worcester, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Lucirene M. (Soares) Bibbo; a son, Joseph N. Bibbo, Jr., and his wife, Brenda, of North Attleboro; a granddaughter, Sofia Bibbo; his mother, Jean J. (Pellegrini) Hamilton, of Bellingham; three brothers: Jack Bibbo and wife Jean (Tagliaferri) of Milliville, Richard Bibbo and wife Paula (Mazzola) of Newton and Gary Bibbo and wife Kim (Bickom) of Bellingham, and two step-children: Jennifer and Kyle Greenman. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew R. Bibbo, who died in 2007, his father, John E. Bibbo, Sr., and his step-father, Robert Hamilton.
Born in Waltham and raised in Bellingham, Joe was a graduate of Bellingham High School, Class of 1978.
For many years before retirement, he owned and operated a successful machine-shop, E. J. Tool Co., Inc. of Clinton, which he built from the ground up. In addition, he owned and operated The Gym Sports Bar& Grill, Worcester.
A member of the Milford Italian American Veterans Club Post 40, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing cribbage, watching football, and volunteering with charitable organizations in the area. His greatest joy was spending time in the company of his family and friends.
Joe's funeral will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 with a service at 12:00 noon in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday, July 18, 2013, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to UMASS Memorial Transplant Patient Fund, c/o UMass Medical School/UMass Memorial Development Office, 333 South St., Shrewsbury, MA 01545. My condolences with respect. I was employed with Joe in the 70's at Honeywell Corp. in Northboro, Ma.

Jean, Jack, Gary and Rich words can not express the sorrow I have for you right now. I only wish that I could be up there right now in your time of need. Joe will be so sadly missed by all.
