One story I remember fondly still makes me smile to this day. We were riding in Uncle Babe´s van, just coming from the grocery store, when he pulled out a package of bacon-raw bacon. With a grin, he told us that you could eat raw bacon because it was smoked. Of course, being little kids who looked up to him, we didn´t hesitate.
