Read MoreMarlene & I are very saddened to learn of Bob's death. He hired me for the The Travelers' Group Department in 1956, so we had been friends for a very long time. The last time we were together was June 2004. We had a wonderful day "reminiscing". We are happy that he was active and vibrant 'til those last days.

I met Lila and Bob when they joined New World UMC. Bob and I had a running joke because we were both of Czech heritage and born and raised in the Chicago area. He liked to ask me "Jak jse mas?" which means, how are you? He took such good care of Lila and always had a smile on his face.
They've gone home, to be together again in Paradise.
