Not sure what to say?

So very sorry for your loss. I am sending my sincere condolences and prayers.

Joe was a gentleman of the old school, always kind and gracious. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life in his golden years with his bride Teresa. I admired his strong Catholic faith and his wholesome ideals; always there to help anyone in need. I will remember his relaxed, folksy presence and genuine interest in people and his beloved church and community. His values shaped his loving family and they live on in all those grandchildren and great-children. My heart is sad for...

I was a co-worker of Joe's at National Fuel Gas back when it was known as Iroquois Gas Co. At the time we worked out of the Niagara Falls Service Center on Packard Rd. Joe at that time was a sub-foreman in the distribution dept. and I was a helper in the utilization dept. I really got to know Joe when I went to work in the safety dept. and would see him on the job or at safety meetings. He always had a smile and a joke to tell. When he told me that he lived in Newfane, I said where's that ?...

How fortunate we all are for knowing Joe Bittner. Fifty years ago, his family made its mark on Niagara County 4-H and today the 4-H Meat Auction continues to be successful thanks to the leadership of pioneers Joe and Theresa. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Condolences from the Raduns and Sweeney families.

So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. May the Lord be with you all during this very difficult time. ❤

Our deepest condolences to the entire Bitter family

Our Sincerest Condolences to the Bitner Family - Joe was a good friend to my Dad and I will never forget how much Joe helped us when Dad got his first team of Draft Horses. Joe was a great man and will be missed by so many. Dan Yousett / Mary Brochey

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Theresa and her family. I will miss the conversations that Joe and I usually have got into at the St. Brendan and Barker Senior's meetings. Always looked forward to those meetings. Never really solved anything but always a great talk with a good man.
