Not sure what to say?

I just came home to central new york yo visit my mom and for reasons unknown decided to check on news about Joe. He was my business law professor for two semesters at OCC and to my surprise we coached a peewee football game against each other in 1977. I really enjoyed his leadership and character. My condolences to your family. Rev. Dr. Chris Johnson

I had Joe as a prof at OCC for Business Law; he was a great teacher and a great guy. He also helped me in a legal matter I had at the time. I remember him as a no-nonsense type of guy. God bless and rest in peace Joe. I am glad to have known him.

When I was fresh out of law school Joe was instrumental in hiring me as an adjunct at OCC. As the semester was about to begin my father fell critically ill and died. Joe taught my class for 2 weeks until I returned to Syracuse. I have always remembered his generosity.

I first knew Joe in grammer school and got reacquainted as a fellow lawyer, both "expats" from Utica. He was so good natured that it was always a pleasure running into him at the Courthouse.

RIP my friend, hope you find the fishing great and the beer cold.

Hie and I became friends in 1969, when we and our families lived across the courtyard from each other in Married Student Housing ar SU, We Learned quickly that the other was a hunter and fisherman, and fished at Jamesville Reservoir, and went deer hunting in several locations. (more than we should have, according to our wives.)
Joe was a good story teller, with a good sense of humor. He probably would have been a successful outdoor writer, if he had given it a try.
When each of us...

Joe and I lived across from each other in married student housing at SU, and later about a 1.2 block apart near Manley Field House. We fished at 'the ville' (Jamesville Reservoir)
for 'tuna', the label attached to largemounth bass by Joe.
Joe had a way of telling stories in a folksy way. He probably would have been successful as an outdoor writer.
Finally, Joe did some legal work for me, but refused to bill me for his work, because of our friendship.
He will be missed.
Dr. Tom...

Joe was a good guy. I had many interesting conversations with him and truly enjoyed hearing his opinion.....he always had an opinion. He will be missed.

Joe was my favorite professor at OCC. He brought common sense and humor to law class. He wore an afro at that time. A cool guy and I am thankful I knew him.
Fair winds Joe!
