Not sure what to say?

Had the pleasure to referee Jumpin Joe in many YMCA games. Often had great conversations on the streets of Bayonne about teaching, sports, etc. Heaven gained an intelligent student-teacher athlete. A real good guy

So sorry to hear of Joe´s passing. Joe and I were teammates at Marist in `61/62. Joe was a heck of a player and a great guy. Enjoyed our lunches together with JimJim and other classmates at Cafe Bello the last few years. My thoughts and prayers for Joe and the family!

Truly sorry for your loss. Often had great conversations about basketball throughout Bayonne. I had the privilege to referee many of his games at the YMCA. A fierce competitor yet a gentleman after the game.

So sorry for your lose. Our prayers are with you and your family. Joseph sounds like he was a very caring and intelligent man.

RIP Mr. Bonner. My prayers and condolences to the family. I had Mr. Bonner for Latin II in 67-68. He was a good guy.

Rest In Peace Joe, so thankful you were part of my life, not only as my English teacher, but as a friend. Thank you for all the rides home to Bayonne. You will be missed.

I loved "Jumpin Joe"! He was a great teacher at Hudson Catholic. My condolences to his family.

A great loss one of the best teachers I've ever had. Hudson Catholic class of 72.

Condolences to family and friends. An influential English teacher and fun guy to be around.
