Ms. Boone, Andrea, Jo-"Jet", My deepest condolences go to you and please, please, please accept my apologies for not being in contact sooner. I learned sooo much about history of our people from our trips to Selma and conversations while cutting Rev. Boone's hair. The imprint has been left on my heart forever. You are in my prayers and know that I love you.

Very recently, in the pages that I am writing for my grandchildren to record my family history, I wrote about Rev. Boone. I was a teenager in the 1950s when Rev. Boone was appointed pastor of our Church in Anniston. He made a deep impact on my life then and that influence has continued throughout my life. I have never forgotten him.
