I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a friend and chemo mate of my husband's (Fred Dietz) Fred spoke so highly about him...would visit on Saturday mornings. After Fred passed away, I would stop in every now and then to see Joe. I was thinking about him today. My thoughts and prayers with his family. Fred took this photo of Joe's beloved Buddha.

My father became friends with Joe in 1970 when he retired and moved into the area. Joe became our family's "go to" guy for transmission work. I had a couple of experiences with Joe that were pure comedy classics. Hollywood couldn't script anything that good. Joe was a genuinely good guy. Aloha 'oe,my friend.
