Joe was a competent, reliable, capable engineer who served HB Reese plant well during our mutual tenure there in the 1980´s. He and his wonderful wife Linda were great people Paul smith

Joe was an incredible person. Every time I look at the front desk at the NC Maritime Museum at Southport or any craft that dealt with woodworking, I think of Joe's incredible ability and what he dedicated to the museum. Joe and Linda were a wonderful pair and I am so happy that they spent their time with us.

Linda, Sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I didn't know Joe that long but truely enjoyed working with him and visiting the 2 of you.
He had a great sense of humor and a very pleasant demeanor about him. He would look me up to talk about projects he was working on (at Hershey) and to buy a cigarette to smoke out in the ammonia courtyard. (I sure do miss those days). I will always have fond memories of him.

Joe was one of my best friends growing up in Hummelstown. We spent many happy days together exploring the wilderness around Indian Echo Caverns, fishing in the Swatara Creek, in Cub Scouts, at E.U.B. Church activities, and hanging out at his house and playing with his Lionel train set. I will never forget the time we went to an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner where we ate so much that we felt sure our stomachs would explode.
