Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to learn of my cousin Joe's passing. Years ago when I became a pipefitter he was like an older brother to me. I didn't know how many years there were between us, he was a fun guy who didn't seem to grow old. A good man you could count on, we could use more like Joe Bowers. His grandfather Schwind was my greatgrandfather. Alan Arthur

To the Bower Family:
I offer my sincere sympathy for the loss of Joseph. I have a special relation with the name, Joseph, as I am his cousin, Sister Mary Coletta Polk, a St. Joseph Nun, retired at The Regina Health Center. Also, my father, Joseph B. Polk was Joe's godfather. I wil have special prayers and Masses said for Joe.

To the Bower Family:
So sorry for your loss. Our prayers and Masses wil be offered for Joe and we shall have our missionary priest in Guatamala say special Masses for him, also. I am Evelyn Polk Fitzgerald, Joe's cousin.

Our sympathy to the entire Bowers family.

I may not have personally known Mr. Bowers, but I did know him through his children. Know that our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

And we will even try to send some Georgia weather your way!

With my deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. May loving memories of him help to ease your sorrow during this difficult time.

How lucky was I to have been sent to summer camp with the Bowers twins. To have not only met my best friends, but to meet a wonderful fun loving family. I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was a man who loved his wife and children. He will be missed by all. Love, Dee
