Joe my 9th brother-in-law as you always told me, we will miss you more then anyone could imagine. I am sure you are in Heaven discussing Nick and politics with Mikey, always know you were loved by all the friends you made and the many wonderful things you did in your lifetime. Our days will never be the same without you in them. Watch over your younger "brother" Nick. We will always love you and miss you.

Earlier this week I sadly learned from our Rye High classmates, Bob GiaQuinto and Maureen Leahy Boniello that Joey Brendel had died peacefully in his sleep. As a member of that Rye Garnet class of 1958, Joey will be long remembered for his genuine goodwill, marvelous sense of humor and that great 1953 Black Cadillac, (which he dearly loved), with the greatest set of "pipes" if not in Westchester County, certainly in Rye. It was both an honor and a privilege to have known Joe - may he find peace and light - as we remember that he has indeed touched the heart and souls of many and his accomplishments, sincerity and memories shall remain .
