Really grateful for your Peirce bio! I was reading it in college, for college, when you passed. Rest in peace.

Pfessor Brent is a distinguished scholar and innovative teacher who leaves as his memorial three major institutional monuments: (1) a biography of C. S. Peirce that corrected and enhanced the historical record as a paradigm shift in Philosophy, (2) a major founder of the Semiotic Society of America, and (3) a major founder of higher education in the spirit of civic development and educated citizenship in Washington, DC.. We miss you Joe!
