Not sure what to say?

You were always there.
And you'll always be in our hearts.

We're going to miss you!

Love, Kenneth Earl

On this feast of St. Joseph we salute
our dear friend Joseph "Bud" Britton.
How appropriate the name of Joseph
was bestowed upon a man who exemplified the virtures of a devoted
husband and protective father. God
welcomed him with open arms!
We are richer for our friendship. Love
you Bud.

How blessed we were to have known and lived next door to an absolute outstanding man, like Joe.
He enriched our lives with his quiet Irish humor, his dedication to his family and to his cherished home and yard. He would work long and hard while whistling the whole time (the same tune!)
We know he occasionally enjoyed his famous martinis or as the kids called it "martuni".
It was always a race each season to see if Joe and Jean would get started with the seasonal chores before us -...

Mr. B was an INCREDIBLE man. So many stories have been told about what a great man he was. From the whistling which you could hear over the lawnmower to the VW Bug. One story which I can remember is when we were out on the boat and Big Brown (Josie the dog) was having trouble getting up on the boat so Mr. B jumped in the water and helped her out but was Scratched all over, he shook it off as just another day on the boat. But what truly sticks out for me is how he loved his family and...

The last time I saw Uncle Bud I told him it was the closest thing to seeing my father again. Both of them, and my Uncle Bob were characters in their own right - and now they're all gone. I grew up with Uncle Bud in my life on a regular basis (pool parties), but once I left home, I saw him only infrequently. Every time was a delight though. If I had to pick a house and neighborhood in all the world to live it, it would be his. A beautiful, hospitable place. As has been said, he always made you...

Mr. B was a wonderful, witty, fun-loving man. He has a special place in my memories. My childhood memories are priceless, and Mr. B has many "guest appearances" in them. I feel very lucky to have known him. He was passionate about life, especially his tennis, his yardwork, his neighbors and most of all HIS FAMILY. He had a keen way of making people feel good about themselves and making people laugh. Thank you for being part those memories, Mr. B. You will never be forgotten. You are a...

90+ years - What a life. What a man. I knew Mr. B for half his life. The memories are ingrained in my mind and the incredible thing is that they are all pleasant, fun loving memories. The experiences I had growing up in our little neighborhood were reminiscent of the television shows "Leave it to Beaver" and "Happy Days" but better because we were actually living it. Who can forget Mr. B pulling down the street in his red "Love Bug" complete with flower stickers plastered all over it, or Mr....

To Everyone, Uncle Buddy will be greaty missed. I remember when he pulled me out of Lake Erie when we were enjoying family time at Cedar Point! I also remember the great ski trips we would take at the Holidays.
Godspeed Uncle Bud, Love, Leslie Marie
