May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I just learned of Joe's passing and am shocked. My sincerest condolences to the entire Britton family. Joe was a true advocate for his clients and a worthy adversary, but he was always a gentleman and gracious. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Joe was a good man and a good attorney. I send my heartfelt condolences to the Family...God Bless and Preserve you all.

My heart goes out to the whole Britton family. In the early 1970's we moved across the street from Bill and Mary Nell---what an amazing warm and close family! Joe was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know and, yes, always had that wonderful smile on his face. He touched so many lives---his memory lives within me and my family. My prayers are with you.

Dear Nancy and family,

We were so sad to hear of his passing so young and so very sorry for your deep loss. We remember Joe to always greet you with a smile, his wonderful sweet humor, and the kindness in his eyes! Our prayers are with you and your family and we pray his honorable legacy will always live on in each of your hearts! May God be close to your...

Joe was a great attorney and a realist. He gave it to you straight or he gave it to you the way you needed to hear it . RIP sir
