Joseph Brockington

My brother, Joe and I were roommates for two years in undergraduate school. We are still extremely thankful and blessed for Joe's special friendship, positive influence, encouragement and love. In the fifty years since there has been no one his equal.

I'm sad to have just learned of Joe's passing, please accept my sincere sympathy.

I am so sorry that I just learned about Joe's passing. I came to know Joe through another colleague in study abroad and we travelled to Nairobi, Kenya together in 2001. He shared generously his knowledge and experience about running an academic program in Kenya, and most importantly, his contacts. As a result, we were able to establish a cooperative agreement between my school and K-College. Joe cared deeply about the students and colleagues. We have lost a great mentor in the profession....

Oh, no! This is so, so sad. My heart goes out to Joe's family and friends. I will miss Joe's intelligence and sense of humor. The world of education abroad has lost a leader and I mourn the loss of a wonderful colleague.

Oh, this is sad. What a great guy. Our sympathies to Cathy and the boys. The world of international education has suffered a huge loss.

Dr. Brockington was the kind of person who lighted up a room instantly with his sense of humour and charisma. I am happy to have crossed paths with him and hope his family will be able to seek refuge in the good memories in such a hard time
