Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of managing Lord and Taylor´s main floor on 5th Avenue in New York City while Joe ran all 11 floors. He was a great leader and without micro managing he knew everything that went on in that store. I learned key management skills from him that brought me success in several businesses moving forward. We are sure to have many laughs about what went on behind the scenes when we meet again. Thank you Joe!

God be with each of you during your time of sorrow. May He give you peace knowing that Joe is now at peace.

Joe Brooks had the ability to see the potential in people that others could not. He was blessed with a vision of the future and ensured that his vision was executed at the highest standard. As a retail giant of his era, I was fortunate to be able to work for him and learn from him at both Lord & Taylor and Ann Taylor. I am the executive and person I am today due in large part to his mentorship. God Bless Alice and the family. He will be missed by many, including me.

I will miss our conversations on family, life, beauty, aging and Churchill. Your love of family superseded all, Joe. I will truly and selfishly miss you! Rest in peace my friend.

Though Mr.Brooks and I never met, I had the pleasure of assisting him with his shopping during the last four years..We would have lenghthy conversations about his beautiful wife, children and grandchildren. He was extremelly giving and gave wonderful advice. I will surely miss him. Rest in Peace.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Alice and her family. Joe was a remarkable man. He had the biggest heart! Although my association with Joe and Alice has been brief, you both have made quite an impression on me. I am all the richer for having known you both.

Rest in Peace Joe. You have impacted so many lives along the way. You surely will never be forgotten. Our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to Alice and all the Brooks family.

With love,
Susan and Keith
