West Springfield – Joseph A. Brosseau Jr., 79, died Thursday afternoon in West Palm Beach, FL surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Holyoke and lived in West Springfield most of his life. He moved to Florida six years ago. He was the retired owner of Allied Fire Protection Inc. in Springfield. An avid golfer, Joe was a longtime member of Oak Ridge Golf Club and was active member of the Dante Club in West Springfield. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Kathleen (Zuffalato) Brosseau; three children David and his wife Kristan, Joseph and his wife Kristin and Kathleen Riolino and her husband Keith. He also leaves two sisters Elaine Lachapelle and Janet Cameron and seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Joseph, Joey R., Matt B., Gianna, and Kate. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday June 13, 2022, at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday June 12, 2022, from 2:00 – 5:00pm. For more information and online condolences please visit curranjones.com. Always remember our good friends, many memories RIP

I can still remember Joe and his big impish smile. He was a joy to be with. He always had a smile and a wisecrack ready for a friend or a stranger. No one could deny he had a heart of gold. He will be remembered for the good times, God, I am sure is having a great time with him there.

DearKathy and family: So sorry to learn of Joe's passing via internet. I still reminesce of the times we had working at S.A.S.I. in So. Hadley. We shared some happy laughs, too! I send my condolences to each of you ar this difficult time in your lives. Joey was my first boss in the sprinkler industry. He knew how to get things done and will be remembered as a great sprinkler advocate.

I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was an affable aand good natured guy. His team at Allied always got the job done correctly, on time and in budget. When Joe and Allied were on the job there were no worries. You should all be proud of him.
