Joe Was a wonderful person and a great friend. I think of him often I wish he could have been named General Manager of KAPL. He would have been the best manager in the History of the Lab.

I was very sorry to learn of Doc's death. It is very difficult loosing a parent and having lost your mother fairly recently makes it even more painful. Those who knew him knew how much he treasured his family. I worked at HVCC during his entire presidency and know that he was a brilliant man but also a very caring and dedicated man. Doc was a wonderful man and a great administrator. He left a legacy here at HVCC that has had a positive impact on many people, faculty, staff and students, or to just talk, maybe have a cup of tea. We were sorry to see him retire. The college flourished under his leadership, and we all felt we could talk to him at any time.
