Not sure what to say?

Joe's fond memory lives on in the family members that I meet up with through the seasons of the year. Being with Joe's extended family keeps the essence of his (and Martha's) goodness ever present. May all of the faithful departed rest in the peace of the Risen Christ.

And now ten years later! Joe (and Martha's) children, grandchildren and great-grandchild and many friends can keep Joe's lively persona still present in our memories. May his soul, his wife, Martha's, soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in the peace of Christ, the Good Shepherd.

On this seventh anniversary of his birth into eternal life, Joe can now celebrate life to the full with his beautiful bride, Martha. May both Joe and Martha rejoice in the splendor of the Risen Lord. Two great people who left a legacy of love and life in the lives of their children and grandchildren.

Six years later -- we still miss the wonderful person of Joe Burke. His goodness, humor and hard work ethic live on in the lives of his family and friends. May he continue to rest in the peace of the Lord. -- Sister Marjorie McCall, IHM

DEATH BRINGS A HEARTACHE THAT NO ONE CAN HEAL, BUT LOVE BRINGS A MEMORY THAT NO ONE CAN STEAL. TANEY STREET FRIENDS

Buddy and family - I was so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Know that you and the entire Burke family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathies to the Burke Family and Friends. I first met "Mr. Burke" at IVB/Central Mortgage Company in Upper Darby when I was part-time in high school. I then moved to Sproul Road, and soon after my mom Pauline joined the Meritor Family (as Sproul Road was just a few miles from where we lived). We both worked with Joe and Sally for years. Joe always had a smile and had a lot of positive "feel good" energy for everyone around him. He will be missed.

To All the Burke Family,
Joe was a great guy. When one reads all the nice and very true comments about Joe one must know the kind of man he was. I knew most of the Burkes from Corpus Christi Parish.
In the last years, I got to talk with much more at the shore. He would be reading his paper on the porch and I would get off my bike and he would bring me up to date on the old neighborhood happenings.
He knew everyone from the old neighorhood.
I am very sorry for the lost of a...

Thank you for the honor and privilege of caring for Mr. Burke. God Bless
