Not sure what to say?

To the family of Joseph A. Butera I send my sincere condolences. I know he was loved and will be missed by all that knew him and were close to him. I have many fond memories of him as I once was married to his namesake "Joe Beryl".

Since I have lived in California for the past fifty years, I have naturally not seen much of Joe, but I wish to state that I thought of him often. He was one of the heros of my youth. I have traveled the world over and I have never seen anyone tougher than Joe.
He was a great phychological help to me when I won the golden gloves in the late forties.I always found him to be fair and with a kind nature.I am a better person for having known him.
My condolances to his family.
