Not sure what to say?

God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around him And whispered,
“Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
And saw him fade away,
Although we loved him dearly
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Your Children, grandchildren, family, and friends are better people for having spent time with you. Your love and guidance on all things important, or just cuz it was your opinion, will be deeply missed. You are an incredible man and we will miss your smile, your laugh, your wisecracks and your hugs. Make sure that while you're up there in heaven without us you take lots of pictures so we don't miss anything! We love you and miss you dearly.

Papa Joe - I remember Thanksgiving at Tony and Pam's house where you were sitting in the back room and you texted Lydia, who was sitting in the front room, maybe 10 feet away. It was a classic moment! I know the family will miss you so much, but I am sure you are in a wonderful place and are smiling down at your family. God bless you.

Uncle Joe, You will never be forgotten. Hold us a place near you in heaven. God bless your family as they miss very much.

Joe's friendship was a blessing to me. He was a kind, caring man who loved his family very much. I will miss his phone calls. It was always a joy to hear from him. "This world is not conclusion; a sequel stands beyond. Invisible as music, positive as sound" (Emily Dickinson) I'll miss you, Joe, but I know you are in a better place and your struggles are over.

I work with your daughter-in-law Pam. I have read the wonderful things that your relatives (including Pam and Tony) have said about you. i wish that I could have met you
