Dad was ready to go.
He was miserable the last couple of weeks as his body and mind broke down.
However he had a very full and satisfying life.
He survived being poor as a child in the Great Depression.
He survived military service in the 2nd World War.
He met and married his partner in life and they were together for almost 70 years.
He was able to raise 5 children and had grandchildren and a great grand child.
He was true to his generation...
