I was very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked for Joe for 15 years and have some very fond memories of him. He gave me my first job out of college in 1967.

The Mader Family

I was an employee of Dr. Calandra's both at the Bacteriology Labs at Northwestern University Dental School, Chicago in 1956 and at Bio Test in Skokie in 1958. Dr. Calandra was my first director after graduation with a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Carthage College, Carthage, Illinois. I was a resident of Chicago and he was my first employer.

I was drafted into the Army from that position and was in Ft. Huachuca, AZ from 1957-1958. I requested an early release from the Service...
