Joseph Calavano 83 of Westfield, NJ died peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2020, surrounded by his
loving family.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday February 27, 10 am Holy Trinity Church in Westfield.
Interment Fairview Cemetery Westfield. Visitation 4-7 pm on Wednesday February 26 at the

Joseph was born in Elizabeth, NJ and settled to Westfield in 1958. Joe was owner operator of
Calavano Roofing in Westfield for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family
watching horses race at the track and the New York Yankees.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents Lena and Joseph, and daughter Marianne MacDonald
and sisters Judy and Joan.
Joe is survived by his wife of 64 years Nina ( nee Rapuano ). Loving children Lisa Scaturo and
husband Jerry, and Joseph M., Caring grandchildren Edward Jinotti, Lori Jinotti, Cara Tortora and husband Anthony,
Jerry Joseph Scaturo and Kelly MacDonald.
Cherished great grandchildren Anthony and Luca Joseph. Brothers Joseph and Jimmy, sisters
Jackie, Jill and Jeanine and sister like cousin Gladys.
Lisa, Jerry and Family ~ My heart aches for all of you. May you feel Gods love, mercy and comfort as you journey through life without your Dad/F-I-L/Grandfather. Be certain of my prayers ❤
