Not sure what to say?

My mom Dorothy Firmin knew Joe many years. I remember him doing my hair when I was about 5 years old that would have been about 1966. He was our family friend. He was good to my sister Roma when she was pursuing her singing career. We spent many times at his various shops and home. We adored Joe. I didn't discover his passing for some time. A kind, gentle soul, a true friend to my mother. I used to love going to the salon and later his store, with her. He was quiet but bigger than life. Wonderful memories! Rest peacefully.

I can´t believe 7 years have passed. Visiting Joseph with my mother on my trips to KC is one of my fondest memories. I still have many treasures to remember him by.

I'm so sorry to hear of Joseph's passing. My mom and I were good customers and we enjoyed hanging out with him and chatting! So sad that he's gone so soon.

Joseph,

I loved stopping by and chatting with you for years. You will always be alive and larger than life in my memories. Thank you for being you and for being my friend. Louise

Just learned of Joes passing and as the widow of one of his old buddies, Gary Harman, I send my deepest sympathy to Martin and family.. I will always remember the las t class reunion we all attended together here in Okmulgee.

Goodbye Joe. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. My condolences to your family, we will miss you.

Godspeed Joe. You were a fun neighbor. I was glad to know you. It has been decades since I have seen you, but I will always remember your smile and happy ways.
