Not sure what to say?

So sorry to see that Mr. Cannon passed away last year. I had mailed him a card and it was returned. He and my dad were very close friends and Mr. Cannon would often come and visit him in Sarasota, Florida. He was a good man, may he Rest In Peace.

Our deepest Sympathy to the Cannon Family in the loss of your Uncle. Began thinking of him the other day during the Pittsburgh St. Patrick's Day parade. That was the first time my husband & I met him in person but I spoke to him frequently due to the Divine Mercy Devotion we shared.
Was at his last May party celebrating his devotion to the
Blessed Mother & the Divine Mercy!!!!!!!! What a people person!!! He had a great sense of humor as well as voice to sing & legs to dance. He...

Joe, my City Councilman, I had often thought of you through the years, remembering those hard fought elections on the streets of Cleveland. Thank you for your service during those dark days of the City's default and the bright Spring of its recovery. Godspeed.

My condolences to the Cannon family on the loss of a very great man. My grandfather was Edward Fitzgerald who was friends with Mr Cannon. When Mr Cannon ran his first campaign, we had a bunch of kids work the neighborhood passing out flyers. Mr Cannon would always wink and smile at me when he ushered at OLGC on Sunday mornings. My last memory of him was when he sang to my grandmother on her 80th birthday.
RIP Mr Cannon.

May God give your family comfort during your time of sorrow.

May God gently carry Mr. Canon's spirit safely to Heaven, and for us to always remember all the love, kindness, and good deeds he shared with all of us. He was an excellent role model, a great friend, and an even better Christian. His smile, personality, and compassionate heart, will never be forgotten. When we think of those seriously involved with their parish, Mr. Canon was top on the list. No one can have a greater story to tell.

What a wonderful gentleman. Joe was always smiling, laughing and singing - a Cannon tradition. Devoted to the mission of Divine Mercy. Joe was always a pleasure to be around- he was the " right kind of Irish ". Heaven is a better place today.

I'll never forget picking up Uncle Joe's painting of Jesus in San Francisco before the St. Patrick's Day Parade. We were unfolding it and did not have anywhere's near the people to help pick it up nevermind carrying it. Uncle Joe would go up to people and introduce himself and people came. He had a way about him that was a relaxed and your right Debbie, "don't worry about a thing". We had so many people carry Jesus that people were lined around this giant poster. Only because of Uncle Joe's...
