Although short, I treasured the time he took to passionately share his thoughts on his days in the service. I will remember him always. I send my deepest condolences to the family of this courageous, warm and honorable man.

Dear Sue, Don, Laurie & Families,
A favorite Indian proverb of mine kept repeating through my thoughts this weekend. It speaks to how I feel about your dad's life:
"When you were born, the world rejoiced while you cried. Live your life in such a way that, when you die, the world cries while you rejoice."
He did just that... enriching all our days.
