Joseph James Cardella Visitation for Joseph James Cardella, 16, will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m today, at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Joseph was a team member of the Rolling Meadows High School football and baseball teams. He was the beloved son of Joseph Charles and Christine Kelly (nee Bock); loving brother of Nicole Cardella, Gordon and Ryan Kelly; loving nephew of Ross (Maryellen) Cardella, Sandy (John) Priola, Fran Denofrio, Christine Cardella, Donna (Pat) McGinn and Jim (Debbie) Bock; loving grandson of Charlotte and the late Joe Cardella, and Jim and Vickie Bock; and loving cousin and friend of many. joe was a part of a special family! He was loved dearly by both sides of his family.I was joes cousin but to me i though of joe as a brother. we lived together for 3 years and we told each other everything. Joe made such a big impact on many people in his 16 years of life.But it makes me fell alittle better knowing hes in a better place now. I still dont belive this.It feels to much like a dream. Its hard to get over someone you loved so much.I cant sleep knowing i will never see him again....
