Dear Annette, Allan and Joe,
Reading your father's beautifully-worded obituary brought back so many memories! My mom had mentioned how your dad wouldn't eat leftovers, so it indeed took an "intelligent and compassionate woman" like Fran to disguise them! My father always held your dad in such high regard. I particularly remember when he was in the nursing home during his last days telling me "They want to kill me! I have to call Joe Carlozzi - he'll get me out of here!"
