Not sure what to say?

I first met Joe Carney when I was about 5 years old. My mother was taking me to school for my first day. On the way we met Mrs. Carney who was taking her son, also first name of Joseph, to his first day of school also. I became good friends with Joe and remained a friend for life.

I am Hana Carney Adkins father in law .
I never got to meet him ,for he passed the day after my son,Bryan Adkins married his daughter, Hana.
I feel that we would have been friends

With cherished memories going back to three years of close association and warm friendship in Maseru, Lesotho.

Dear Suga and family

We are so sorry to learn of Joe's passing. For years, we have been neighbors, sharing our news in as time went by. We watched Mark and Hana grow up to be such fine adults and we know you were both so proud of them!

We are sorry to be sharing in your sad news and we wish you and your lovely family joy in your memories of Joe.

Dear Suga, my thoughts are with you and your family. Rejoice in the wonderful memories you shared and may they always provide comfort in your sorrow

Dear Suga, Hana, Mark and Brian:

It is with great sadness that I write these few lines that seem so inadequate describing such a dear gentleman. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Joe loved you all so very much. How special and brave he was , and even with great difficulty, he was determined to be present at his beloved daughter "s wedding. God Bless Joe and all his family. You have many wonderful memories of his warmth , kindness, his huge smile and how much he cared for you. ...

What a great man who lived a great life. Suga, Mark and Hana, you were everything to him and provided the love and support he needed to provide so many others with his grace. Those of us who knew him, worked with him and laughed with him, have been forever touched by his kindness and compassion for others. Joe was an inspiration and true friend who made a real difference in this world.

May the angels lead you into Paradise: may the martyrs rejoice at your coming.
Betty Jane Hickey Murphy

Such a sad time for such a great family. I give all of my love and hope for better times to come. May he rest in peace in heaven as he watches over his dear family.
