I am a very, very distant cousin through the William Preston family of Smithfield in Montgomery County. I descend from the Patton family of William's mother. We have an active group at Solitude and Smithfield mending past wounds. We would welcome descendants of Robert. Website is Historic Smithfield. I am on the Board. Sorry for your loss. Worked with Joe a few years at UPS. We had different views on some subjects but always got along. The biggest memories he left me were doing what he wanted to do and only dogs worth having were chocolate labs. Had to respect Joe he was fun to watch as he moved through life.
