age 90, born March 19, 1926, passed away January 28, 2017. A life well lived. A humble hero deeply loved, now missed by many. Joe Casey was many things: A great father who successfully raised two kids; a loving husband of 58 years; a drivers education teacher of three generations of northeast...
I graduated from Lakewood High School in 1972. Mr.Casey was my driving/class instructor. - A big part of starting my life outside of school. So sorry for the loss of a good man....

Jan and Family,
I had the privilege of knowing Joe as both a drive ed. student (back in the days when the simulator trailer was at St. Eds); AND as a colleague at Lakewood High school (when his classroom was across the hall from the TV studio on the 3rd floor of the old building).
[I also have had the wonderful opportunity to work with Jan in the Library Media department.]
Joe was always moving, always trying to innovate, always smiling, always hurrying to and appointment...
