Not sure what to say?

Always in my heart ....love Jim

I attended Transylvania University with Joe. We were in the same fraternity. I have never known anyone easier to get along with. So kind. Such a great sense of humor. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone, nor did I ever hear anyone with anything negative to say about him. A uniquely good human. I feel so lucky to have known him.

I had attended GE training twice at Monogram center. Joe was such a sweetheart to everyone who walked in his kitchen. Appreciate the opportunity I had to spend time with such a wonderful person. Sorry for your loss.

Our family Christmas always includes Chef Joe's bread pudding recipe. We will always remember his smile and generosity. God Bless Chef Joe and prayers for his family during this difficult time.

I was fortunate to have met Joe through business connections at the Brown Hotel. I started as a vendor and grew to be a good friend. He was never too busy to chat and offer a kind word. We continued our business connection when he left for GE. Through the pandemic we didn’t see each other or talk as much. But he was often in my thoughts. He was undoubtedly one of the nicest men I’ve ever known. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful family who I know he cherished above all else.

Joe was my friend in college, and I counted myself lucky to be his friend. He was one of the best-natured people I’ve ever met, and I will never forget his infectious laugh and sense of humor!

We both worked at a huge place. I had to make lunch for Chef Joe and his guests. Of course they wanted Hot Browns. He gave me the secret recipe. I think that was the most important thing in the world, to me. Joe said I nailed it.
The World lost one of the best Chefs on Earth.

So sorry to learn of Joe's death. I worked with Joe many years ago when he finished his studies at Transylvania University. We ran the kitchen at Amato's Restaurant in Lexington where he and his brother John were chefs. The restaurant was named for former Lexington Mayor Jim Amato, and we were all 'family'. Love to all his family, and a special hi to brother John.
