While I was only an aquaintance of Dr. Cataldo, my father, David Williams who passed in 2007, was extremely friendly with him and always spoke very highly of him as a doctor and as a friend. When my father and mother moved to Arizona from Cumberland, Maine, I will always remember my dad, on his visits back to New England, carving out time to pick up the phone and call his friend, Dr. Cataldo. They would talk regularly in this fashion. My dad had worked at Blue Cross and interacted with Dr....

Joe was a true friend, colleague, patient, and hero. As difficult as it was to watch him fade, his vibrant and enthusiastic energy is the mainstay memory. As a Nam Vet, we had some enthralling discussions of the then and now political and personal issues of the VN war and his participation in the raid.
