Joe was among the first people I met and worked with when I came to Charleston in 1993. We shared many adventures over the years, and he often challenged me in many ways, but always with a wry smile and his mischievous wit. I think of Joe whenever I use his handmade pottery I still have, and many of us were enriched by his generous and fun loving spirit. RIP Joe, and enjoy the next great adventure my friend.
