My condolences to the friends and family of Father Joe. I remember fondly his influence and friendship during my years at Shippensburg University in the Campus Ministry.
He was a lot of fun during that time, and always entertaining as well as compassionate. I still can hear him yelling at his boxer, Socrates, for digging in the garden! He will be missed, but leaves a great legacy of memories!

You made a significant impact on my spiritual development as a young Catholic man in college at Bucknell, and for that I shall always remain indebted to you. We were so sorry to hear of Father Celia's death. He was our assistant here at Seven Sorrows and was a wonderful person and Priest. Our sympathy goes out to his family but now he is truely HOME.

Father Joe was a very precious person who cared for each and every being he met, I think. Bill and I got to know him from our visits back home to the St. Pius X area after he buried my brother in 1991. We valued his homilies and his words of kindness to us even though we were long years away from the parish I grew up in and we were married in.
Eternal rest grant him, O Lord and may Your Perpetual Light shine upon him. Amen.
